Medical Support Team

  • Brianna K
    Registered Veterinary Technician

Brianna grew up in Edmonton and has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember. This led her to pursue a career in animal medicine. She started her journey at Whitemud Crossing Animal Hospital as a volunteer while completing her BSc in Animal Health and graduated in 2018. After taking a year off she decided to return to school and complete NAITs Animal Health Technologist course in 2021 and become an RVT. She is very excited to have now returned to WCAH! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her fiancé at home and taking her husky mix Scout to the dog park.

  • Jasmine PC
    Veterinary Assistant

Jasmine is a graduate of MacEwan University with her BSC in Biology. Having always been fascinated with nature, and animals in particular, she is always striving to learn new things about them. When working at the clinic, she loves to meet the clients and their fur babies. Jasmine likes to hike, swim, and draw animals in her spare time, when her dogs permit.

  • Julia R
    Veterinary Assistant

Julia graduated with a BSc in Zoology from the University of Calgary and is in pursuit of a career as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in a small farming community in rural Southern Alberta, which is where her love of animals took root. Joining the WCAH team has allowed her to put her passion for animal husbandry into practice, and she looks forward to the experience she will gain in a bustling city clinic. In her free time, she likes to surround herself with family and friends, and is always game for a good game of cards.

  • Kristine S., BSc
    Client Service Representative

Kristine graduated with a BSc in Animal Health from the University of Alberta in 2017. She has always been compassionate towards animals, but also enjoys travelling, camping, and a good game of tennis or golf. After working at our clinic for a couple of years as a veterinary assistant, she has deepened her passion for medicine and will be working with a new species in the future - humans! She has recently moved back to her hometown of Medicine Hat, AB to complete a BSc in Nursing. However, she still works remotely for the clinic and you may occasionally interact with her via email or phone. She misses working with all your furry friends, but is still happy to be a part of the WCAH team.

  • Kerra B.
    Veterinary Assistant

Kerra is currently in her second year studying at the University of Alberta in the Animal Health Program. Since she was little, she was always surrounded by animals which sparked her love and passion for their health. Kerra loves meeting and interacting with your furry friends but when she is not, she keeps busy by hiking, hanging with friends, or spending time with her horse or dog.

  • Reillee D.

Reillee is a fourth-year student studying animal science at the University of Alberta. She spends her time working and volunteering with all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to chickens and pigs!
