Telemedicine is an upcoming way to connect you with your veterinarian in order to provide continuous care for your pet. At our hospital telemedicine may involve a phone call or video chat between yourself and your pet’s regular veterinarian. While telemedicine is not a replacement for in clinic care, it may be used as a tool to help provide follow up recommendations and assist with ongoing management of your pet’s health. Our team can help determine if telemedicine may be an appropriate alternative for your pet’s appointment.
Telemedicine appointments offer greater flexibility as they may be scheduled throughout the day during our regular business hours. This means they can be booked around the doctor's clinic appointments and your own busy schedule.
As much as we love seeing your pet’s in the clinic, we know that frequent office visits can sometimes introduce greater stress for them. In some instances, telemedicine may be an appropriate alternative to bringing your pet into the clinic. This may help avoid extra anxiety some pet’s experience during travel or while in the clinic setting.
