Our Clinic Policies

In order for us to provide the highest quality care for our clients and their beloved pets, our hospital has implemented the following policies:

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you and your pet. If you can no longer attend your pet’s scheduled appointment or need to reschedule, we ask that you give at least 48 hour notice. Failure to give at least 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee of $50.00 being charged to your account. Surgical cancellations may result in a fee of $125.00 being charged to your account.

Leash/Pet Carrier Policy

To ensure the safety and comfort of all staff, clients, and patients, we ask that all pets entering our clinic lobby are securely leashed with a standard 4 to 6 foot leash, OR contained in a small pet carrier. If you arrive and realize you have forgotten your pet’s leash, please ask one of our staff members to borrow a leash from the clinic.

Prescription Refill Policy

Annual physical examinations are required for all pets in order for us to prescribe and dispense prescription medications. Please allow a minimum of one business day for most standard prescription medication refill requests. For compounded medications, please allow one week’s notice for refill requests. If you aren’t sure if your pet’s medication is compounded, please call our hospital and one of our staff members will assist you.

Return Policy

Prescription Foods (Hills, Royal Canin, Purina & Rayne ONLY)

These items will only be honoured for either FIRST-TIME palatability refusal OR product defects, and ONLY within 30 days of original purchase. The receipt and invoice of original purchase must be presented at the time of return.
