Dr. Amritveer Toor, DVMAssociate VeterinarianDr. Toor joined Whitemud Crossing Animal Hospital in June 2019. Her professional interests include small animal surgery (soft tissue), dentistry and small animal internal medicine. Dr. Toor is a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association and the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association. She holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in Veterinary Science from Punjab Agricultural University, India. She worked as an associate small animal veterinarian in Newfoundland for 5 years, before moving to Edmonton. She lives in St. Albert with her husband and 8 yr old son. She enjoys travelling, music, cooking and gardening.

Dr. Lisanne MacGregor , DVMAssociate VeterinarianDr. Lisanne grew up in Edmonton and completed a degree in Animal Biology at the University of Alberta before heading off to Australia to do her veterinary degree. Lisanne graduated with Honours in Veterinary Science from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and has been working in small animal clinics in Melbourne and Sydney ever since. In 2021 she decided it was time to move home to Edmonton which is when she joined the Whitemud Crossing team. Lisanne has a particular interest in small animal medicine and is passionate about preventative health and senior care. In her spare time she has a young son, and a French Bulldog named Steve who likes to keep her busy.

Cassidy K. BSc/RVTPractice Manager / Registered Veterinary TechnicianCassidy graduated with a BSc in Animal Health from the University of Alberta in 2018 and in 2021 she completed the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT finishing both programs with honours. Cassidy grew up surrounded by pets of all shapes and sizes and loved spending as much time as possible on her family’s acreage. This stirred Cassidy’s passion for nature and inspired her to pursue a career in the animal health field. At work Cassidy loves interacting with animals every day and meeting others who share her love for furry critters. As our Practice Manager, Cassidy is also always looking for ways to better our practice and the standard of care we deliver to patients. Outside of work she enjoy getting outdoors and trying to keep up with her golden retriever Paisley who is always ready for the next adventure.

Amy O. VMAClient Service ManagerAmy is a long-standing member of the hospital management team. She strives to foster a hospital culture based on high quality patient care, exceptional customer service, teamwork and ongoing learning. Born and raised in Edmonton, Amy graduated with honours from NAIT's VMA program in 2014. She enjoys cooking, camping, traveling, and hiking. She loves spending time training and playing with Thanos, her feisty French Shepherd sidekick who is titled in lure coursing, advanced scent detection, and currently in sheep herding classes!

Kathryn M. BSc/RVTTechnical Support Manager / Registered Veterinary TechnicianKathryn grew up in Edmonton and graduated from the UofA with a BSc in Animal Biology in 2011. She then spent 2 years living in Europe and enjoying her passion for traveling while working abroad. After moving back to Edmonton she followed her passion for animal health and completed the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT in 2017. Since working as an RVT in small animal clinics, her interests have started to focus on dental care and nutrition to help provide the best wellness care she can for all pets coming through the clinic. If she’s not working with the patients you’ll find Kathryn taking care of all the equipment and IT functions in the clinic. Growing up around computer savvy family members she has learned her way around all things technology and has naturally started to manage that side of the clinic. When not at work you’ll find Kathryn spending time with her partner and growing family. She has a young son at home and since starting at Whitemud Crossing has added a mixed breed rescue pup, Balin, and a special rescue cat with prosthetic legs, Legolas, to the family. She loves to go backpacking in the mountains with her family, singing at the top of her lungs and reading at home

Missy DSHGoodwill AmbassadorMissy joined our team after struggling to find her fur-ever home as a rescue kitten over 7 years ago. She has since become an integral part of our hospital with her quirky feline personality. Missy is always willing to clean up treats left behind from patients and loves to assist in folding freshly dried towels. As a hyperthyroid cat with kidney disease she personally ensures our team is delivering a high standard of care to cats with those conditions. Missy keeps our team smiling throughout the day and reminds us to take a minute to enjoy the simple things, such as a cardboard box in the sunshine.

Brianna K BSc/RVTRegistered Veterinary TechnicianBrianna grew up in Edmonton and has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember. This led her to pursue a career in animal medicine. She started her journey at Whitemud Crossing Animal Hospital as a volunteer while completing her BSc in Animal Health and graduated in 2018. After taking a year off she decided to return to school and complete NAITs Animal Health Technologist course in 2021 and become an RVT. She is very excited to have now returned to WCAH! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband at home and taking her husky mix Scout to the dog park.

From a young age she has always had a strong appreciation for animals and enjoys teaching her pets cute tricks. In addition to visiting cat cafes and making new fluffy friends, she likes jamming out on the ukulele, going for runs, and learning Japanese.
