I mentor an effective and productive veterinary medical team that advocates for pets, educates clients on all aspects of pet health, ensures a safe and effective hospital environment, and improves both the medical quality and business performance of the hospital.
Dr.Amritveer Toor, DVMAssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Toor joined Whitemud Crossing Animal Hospital in June 2019. Her professional interests include small animal surgery (soft tissue), dentistry and small animal internal medicine. Dr. Toor is a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association and the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association. She holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in Veterinary Science from Punjab Agricultural University, India. She worked as an associate small animal veterinarian in Newfoundland for 5 years, before moving to Edmonton. She lives in St. Albert with her husband and 8 yr old son. She enjoys travelling, music, cooking and gardening.
Dr.Lisanne MacGregor,DVM - On Maternity LeaveAssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Lisanne grew up in Edmonton and completed a degree in Animal Biology at the University of Alberta before heading off to Australia to do her veterinary degree. Lisanne graduated with Honours in Veterinary Science from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and has been working in small animal clinics in Melbourne and Sydney ever since. In 2021 she decided it was time to move home to Edmonton which is when she joined the Whitemud Crossing team. Lisanne has a particular interest in small animal medicine and is passionate about preventative health and senior care. In her spare time she has a young son, and a French Bulldog named Steve who likes to keep her busy.
